Tips on how to make the BEST Banana Bread
Use very ripe bananas: brown, soft bananas are the sweetest and creamiest. No ripe bananas? Bake them at 300°F (150°C) for 10–30 minutes, until they turn black.
Room temperature ingredients. Your batter will mix evenly, resulting in a softer overall texture in your banana bread.
Always check your bread with a toothpick. Adjust the time according to your oven. Insert a toothpick into the center of the bread to ensure it’s thoroughly baked. This avoids under- or over-baking.
Simple tweaks can make a difference. Try brown sugar, coconut oil, or a drop of vanilla for extra flavor.

Slice your banana bread and serve it as is, or with fresh fruit, nut butter, or my favorite, Bonne Maman’s Hazelnut Spread.
