  • 3 cloves of garlic (I like mine really garlicky, feel free to only use one)
  • 2 tbsp of chili garlic sauce
  • 2 tbsp canola oil or sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1 pack noodles (your choice)
  • 2 cups of water
  • 1 egg
  • Green onions
  • 1 sunny side up egg optional

Directions

Step 1

Mince garlic and add it to the pan with the chili garlic sauce and oil. Cook on medium low heat.

Add the sugar and soy sauce.

Step 2

Bring 2 cups of water to boil and add the noodles. Add 3 tablespoons of boiling water from the noodles to the sauce.

Step 3

Once the noodles are cooked, add them to the sauce and push them to the side on the pan to leave space for the egg.

Step 4

Add the egg and sprinkle the noodle soup base on it ( or salt and pepper). Scramble the egg and mix it with the noodles.

Step 5

Add the green onions and serve it with a fried egg on top.
